Please be aware that the Fort George G. Meade area is an expensive place to live. Please note that there is a waiting list for housing and that you may incur lodging expenses until on-post housing is available. If you desire off-post housing, ensure that you have funds set aside to cover first and last month’s rent, security deposits and any other expenses that may be required by your rental agent.

The 780th Military Intelligence Brigade is located on Fort George G. Meade’s main post: 310 Chamberlin Avenue. New incoming personnel report on a weekday between the hours of 0900 and 1600. If there are circumstances that will not permit this, please contact our office as soon as possible. We will provide you with further instructions.

Upon arrival, Soldiers are officially signed into the unit and are expected to be ready for duty. On the day that you report, you MUST arrive in ACUs with your orders and PCS leave form. A Start Right appointment will be made for you during your in-processing; this will include finance, medical record turn in, updating your personnel records, DEERS (if applicable) and orientation to the Installation.

Again, we welcome you to the unit and look forward to working with you. Travel safely and contact us if you have any questions.
