Welcome to the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. On behalf of our command team, Col. Jennifer Buckner and Command Sgt. Maj. Lawrence Hoke, we would like to be the first to welcome you to the brigade. The 780th Military Intelligence Brigade is the newest military intelligence brigade in the Army and our Soldiers are on the cutting edge of technology and intelligence operations.

Please be aware that the Fort George G. Meade area is an expensive place to live. Please note that there is a waiting list for housing and that you may incur lodging expenses until on-post housing is available. If your are desiring off post housing, ensure that you have funds set aside to cover first and last month rent, security deposits and any other expenses that may be required by your rental agent.
The 780th MI Brigade is NOT located on the NSA compound. We are located on Fort George G. Meade’s main post: 4552 Cooper Ave. which is a main intersection on Mapes Ave. Attempting to drive onto the NSA compound will cause you to be turned around and removed by NSA police. You MUST report on a week day between the hours of 0900 and 1600. If there are circumstances that will not permit this, please contact our office as soon as possible. We will provide you with further directions.
Upon arrival you are officially signed into the unit and are expected to be ready for duty. On the day that you report you MUST arrive in ACUs with your orders and PCS leave form. A Start Right appointment will be made for you during your in-processing; this will include finance, medical record turn in, updating your Personnel records, DEERS (if applicable) and orientation to the Installation.
