Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Dayron I. Vargas assumed responsibility as the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command’s (INSCOM) Command Sergeant Major, May 1, 2015.

CSM Vargas holds a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College and an Associate Degree in Military Intelligence Operations from Cochise College. His military education includes Executive Leader Course, Keystone, Sergeants Major Course (Class 56), First Sergeants Course, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Course, Counterintelligence Force Protection Source Operations Course, and the Counterterrorism Analysis Course.
