Mission: The 513th Military Intelligence Brigade (Theater) provides tailored, multi-disciplined intelligence and intelligence capabilities in support of USARCENT and other commands' execution of Unified Land Operations in the USCENTCOM AOR.

The 513th Military Intelligence Brigade is comprised of three battalions: 202nd, 297th, and the 345th. Each unit has a unique mission that plays a vital role in the mission of the brigade as a whole.

The 202nd MI Battalion assists in setting the theater and provides sustained CI and HUMINT support for USARCENT and other commands' execution of Unified Land Operations in the USCENTCOM AOR to shape and deter conflict in a complex environment.

The 297th MI BN provides tailored, multi-disciplined intelligence teams and capabilities in support of USCENTCOM, USARCENT, and regionally-aligned/Globally-responsive forces to defeat adversaries, promote regional stability, support partner nations and allies, and protect U.S. interests.

345th MI BN conducts Mission Command and provides trained, equipped and ready Soldiers, teams and units to conduct regionally-focused all source and single-source intelligence operations, theater to tactical-level human intelligence, and counterintelligence operations in direct support of the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade (Theater). On order, deploys tailored intelligence assets to an assigned area of operations to counter the Threat and Conduct Information Collection; Provide Intelligence Support to Force Generation; and provide Support to Situational Understanding for expeditionary elements in support of the Military Intelligence Brigade (Theater), Army Service Component Command and Combatant Commander requirements.
